OUR STORY
Built from faith,
sustained by community.
Surrey Urban Mission began in 1995 in a church basement in Central Surrey, built on the contributions of faithful volunteers. Those early hours laid the foundation for the essential service pillars we stand on today.
Our focus is connecting Surrey residents with the services they need most — personalized casework, shelter support, daily meals, and faith community — because we believe every person deserves dignity and hope.
WHAT WE DO

They didn’t judge me. They gave me shelter, but more importantly, they gave me hope. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I mattered.
