Food Services Worker
Objective
The Food Services Worker participates in the preparation of meals for the shelter guests at all sites. The Food Services Worker reports to and takes direction from the Food Services Manager.

Responsibilities
- Help prepare cooked meals as scheduled for all SUMS sites.
- Work together with the Food Services Shift Supervisor to prepare meals on time and to SUMS standards.
- Monitor food stock and freshness and dispose of expired items.
- Monitor daily fridge and freezer temperatures.
- Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Knowledge
Grade 10, plus graduation from a program in institutional or residential quantity cooking.
Training and Experience
- One (1) year recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Food Safe Certificate Level 1.
